About – Research Communication Unit

RESEARCH COMMUNICATION UNIT

The research communication unit (RCU) was established with the aims of publicizing the research activities of FOM as well as bridging the communication gap between the units at the research office and all members in the FOM and research community

RCU is responsible:

  • To provide a communication platform for members in the FOM and research community
  • To promote research activities, innovative discoveries, and notable accomplishments of members of FOM.
  • To promote services and workshops organized by units at Research office and FOM

Services

  • Provides secretariat support for publicity of research activities
  • Provides engaging research content, not only for FOM community, but to a wider audience, through our newly launched website and social media platforms.
  • Assists in bridging the communication gap between the clinicians and the non-clinicians through the Wednesday Morning Symposium.
  • Provides research content and updates on recent research activities through our tri-annual research bulletins (PULSE@UM)
  • Provides editorial and management support for JUMMEC Journal
