The UM Research Cluster is pleased to invite applications from Universiti Malaya academicians for internal research grants under the Universiti Malaya Research Excellence Grant (UMREG) 2024.
Please be informed that the expected output for UMREG 2024 is revised as follows:

 

Publication

a)

Sciences:

Three (3) Web of Science-indexed publications of which one (1) must be Q1 (research article).

b)

Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities

One (1) Web of Science-indexed publication and Two (2) Scopus-indexed publications of which one (1) must be Q1 (research article);

 

OR

 

One (1) Q1 Web of Science/Scopus-indexed publication (research article) and one (1) book (only research book(s) published by international renowned Publishers and those in the MAPIM list will be accepted).
Interested applicants must complete their details and upload a softcopy (1) of the application form via UM 365 Microsoft Form (CLICK HERE) before 12:00 p.m., 14 May 2024. 
All proposals should follow the UMREG 2024 revised guidelines. The Project Leader must ensure all the documents in the checklist are submitted. Incomplete and late applications will not be processed.
